Account List

Purpose

This report provides a list of patients and basic account information. The report can be filtered to display only those accounts with a specific account due balance.

Include

All active patient accounts are included in the report even if the balance due is zero unless a specific balance range is specified. Negative balances can be included in the report as well, by using negative values in the From/Through parameters, or leaving the From parameter blank to include all balances up through the value entered in the Through parameter.

When run without specific balance indicated the total outstanding accounts receivable will match the total net A/R reported on the Aging by Account Report.

When running the report for negative balance only be sure to enter the values with the largest negative value in the from field. Example: From: -9999.99 Through -.01

Parameters

Click here here to view report parameters. Use these parameters on their own or in conjunction with one another.  The more parameters you use, the more specific the search will be.

Account Balance

Optional filter for account due balance:

  • If left blank the filter is not used (all accounts with all balances will be printed on the report).
  • If used, only accounts with a current balance in the selected range will be included in the report.
  • One of the two values can be left blank to extend the included range to all values in that direction (Example: leaving “From” blank and setting “Through” to “0.00” will include all accounts with a negative (credit) balance regardless of how large that balance is).
  • Use the yellow down arrow next to the parameter to add additional ranges to the filter, or to negate the function of the filter (to pull accounts with a balance NOT between the selected range.

Buttons

Action buttons:

  • OK.  Runs the report based on the parameters and layout selected.
  • History.  Allows a user to recall prior parameter selections used to run the report in the past and load them to the screen.
  • Save.  Allows the user to save a copy of the report to their computer

Header

Displays the Business Entity, name of the report and parameter settings of the report when it was created.

Acct

Patient’s account number

Class

Patient’s account classification as documented in Demographics

Patient

Patient’s name in “Last Name, First Name” format

DOB

Patient’s Date of Birth in MM/DD/CCYY format

If not recorded in Demographics, then “<N/A> will display

 

Patient’s gender

City, State

Patient’s Address City and State

Field will be blank if no address was entered in Demographics.

Hphone

Patient’s Home Phone number in “(xxx) xxx-xxxx” format.

Phone extension will be included if entered in Demographics.

PrimProv

Patient’s Primary Provider quick code as documented in Demographics

Balance

Patient’s current account balance. The balance includes all active charges billed to insurance, charges billed to patients, and any unallocated UP transactions. Inactive and Corrected transactions are not included in the Balance.

Total

Total number of accounts included in the report. Total net accounts receivable due.
